How it started
Veault is a Norwegian/Dutch startup that has developed a digital vault to simplify settling a digital legacy after death.
The idea for Veault originated when founder Leon van Leeuwen experienced firsthand how losing a loved one spiraled into a chaotic search for passwords and accounts. It made the vulnerability of our digital lives painfully clear. Leon wanted to properly arrange his own digital legacy, but a reliable solution combining absolute privacy with ease of use proved impossible to find.
With over ten years of experience in e-commerce, cybersecurity, and SaaS, he decided to build the platform himself. The result is a digital vault with the highest security standards that is simultaneously so intuitive that anyone can use it right away.
